Dear Book Lover,

Summer is over and the holidays are fast approaching!

How about letting us ...help you create a special gift this year.
We can take your printed pages that hold stories, poems , pictures or just  "becauses" and turn them into a custom hard cover book for under $50.00.

We can personalize your bookstore purchased, hardcover book with a name or you can include one of our " Book Lovers Never Go To Bed Alone" T- shirt, available in three different colors, in their Christmas stocking for $15.00.

A custom gift shows the receiver how much you care by taking your time to make it theirs...personally.

With warm regards,

Gail
Write Yourself Happy!

Remember the diary, with the tiny lock, that you entrusted your secrets to as a young person?

Studies have shown that writing increases coping skills.

Write yourself happy by making lists. First, list what is not working in your life.  Second, envision how it might work better and then plot how to get from the first to the second.

According to Kitty Klein, Ph.D, associate professor at North Carolina State University, your journal can become your best friend, who never judges or tires of your gripes.  It can help you break out of an endless worry cycle.  We can help...

Custom made journals are $20.00 each when you mention our newsletter.  Twenty colors available
and 70 letters and spaces for title and name
printed in gold foil on the spine. Each journal
contains 200  lined or unlined acid free pages.

Classes from Pop-ups to Hard Cover Books!

As another service to our customers, we offer art classes that revolve around paper, cloth, glue and Stik Tak.  A two hour class for 20 students that include the instructors and all materials start at $200.00.
Hours of fun and you have a project to take home.
Our place or yours....call us to schedule a date.

PBS Taping for a Pilot TV Show

In October, Middle Pond Media, filmed the family members and crew at work, at Denver Bookbinding.  The bindery is in it's fifth generation and caught the attention of the television production company that is launching a vocationally oriented pilot called "Generation to Generation", a segment of its' American series.

The program is scheduled to be aired in 2008 and we will keep you updated.
We appreciate all the support the first newsletter generated and the referrals from you to your friends.

With warm regards,

Gail Lindley
